About the platform

Trace Board is an observability workspace for teams that ship frequently and need trace-level context during incidents. We focus on latency budgets, span correlation, and deployment annotations — not vanity dashboards that nobody opens at 2 a.m.

The product started as an internal tool at a payments company where microsecond-level tail latency directly affected authorization rates. Today we serve platform teams across fintech, logistics, and SaaS.

Ingest pipeline

• 01 Agents send OTLP or Zipkin spans to a regional collector
• 02 Spans are normalized, sampled, and indexed within 40 ms median
• 03 Hot storage retains fourteen days; cold archive holds one year
• 04 Query API serves flamegraphs and service maps from the same index

What we do not do

Trace Board is not a log aggregator or a metrics-only APM. We do not replace your existing time-series stack — we complement it with request-path visibility. Session replay, RUM beacons, and marketing analytics are out of scope.

Enterprise customers may deploy collectors inside their VPC. Self-hosted query nodes are available for regulated industries that require data residency controls.
